Miley Cyrus has said that her controversial Vanity Fair photoshoot by Annie Leibovitz boosted her appeal amongst young fans. The child star of Disney's Hannah Montana franchise caused a furore when she was pictured apparently topless beneath a satin wrap. However, in a new interview with Billboard magazine, the 15-year-old said: "I was embarrassed but also it's like, every career thing that I do can't be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. ,""I think that just makes me even more relatable. I don't think people will look at me any differently because they're like, 'You know what, I'm going to do stupid stuff too, and I'm going to make mistakes, and that's fine.' she added. read more

With kids out of school for the summer, it looks like the viewer action as far as provocative YouTube clips of Miley Cyrus is getting hotter and heavier -- which is a shame. Tagged with such titles as "Do You Really Want Your Kid Looking Up to This?" and "Miley BOOBS!," they're drawing views in the hundreds of thousands, some topping a million, with homemade collections of stills of the "Hannah Montana"lifting up her shirt, showing off her bod, her underwear and looking like -- as users star put it so succinctly -- a slut.Annie Liebovitz is nowhere in the vicinity for the pics that have been surfacing in recent weeks, in case you wondered.

Nor is Papa Billy Ray.  Miley, does it take more than Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan as reference points to see how beautiful, exceptionally talented young women can turn into pathetic fodder for jokes when their self-indulgent ways get out of hand? Show some sense, girl!
