Miley Cyrus Photo Scandal Doesn't Keep Hannah Montana Star Down

By Jo Anne Way Jan 1, 2008 The leaked photos of Miley Cyrus that have made their way far and wide all over the World Wide Web have not kept the starlet of the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana down. The photos are of Miley and a friend playing around and they are snapped on the floor together in short skirts and flirting with the camera.

Immediately they were leaked and a full-blown photo scandal was unleashed on the web until finally Miley Cyrus had to respond during a radio interview right before her New Year's Eve concert appearance in Times Square with the Jonas brothers. Unlike fellow Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, Miley refused to go underground and was on stage on Monday night. When the whole photo scandal for Vanessa hit she only released a statement through a representative and then spent the better part of a month out of sight. Now granted, Vanessa was full frontal while these photos of Miley are much more tame but obviously Miley has decided to deal with it head on and hold her head high. She was right there on ABC last night singing her little heart out. The video is here and shows the Jonas Brothers performing �S.O.S.,� and �Hold On,� at Dick Clark�s New Years Eve. Miley later joins them on stage to perform �We Got the Party.�
