It�s hard to remember, but Miley Cyrus wasn�t always the star of Hannah Montana and queen of the Disney universe. She was once a scrawny eleven-year-old kid who had to go through many auditions, taking over a year altogether, to get the role that made her a superstar. Although she probably still did drink ketchup at that time.
�I auditioned forever. At first Disney said I was too small and too young,� she�s quoted by WENN as saying recently. But after countless months of fruitless searching, Disney still hadn�t found their Hannah Montana star. So Miley returned the next year and finally landed the role of a lifetime.

But that part of Hannah�s father had yet to be cast, so Billy Ray Cyrus then auditioned for role. Contrary to recent reports, it was not the dad who helped his daughter get the role. It was actually the other way around. �After that my dad went for the role of my on-screen dad. I had to audition him which was really weird,� she explained.
