Ojai 'School to the Stars' uses Web to teach athletes, actors

The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and has students nationwide and in 48 countries. Marilyn Mosley Gordanier, founder and director, said the school�s focus on the individual student is what sets the program apart.

For Emily Osment, 17, Laurel Springs is a perfect fit. The actress, who plays Miley Cyrus� best friend, Lilly Truscott, on �Hannah Montana,� is also a busy musician, touring and working on a coming album. She enrolled at Laurel Springs her freshman year after it became increasingly difficult to manage the workload at a private school she was attending.
